Welcome to Burghley Class - Year 3!

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to our lovely Year 3 class at Ryhall CE Academy. This year marks an exciting milestone as your child transitions from KS1 to KS2, and we are so looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and growth!

Meet the Team

Burghley Class is taught by Miss Richardson with the support of our wonderful TA, Mrs Crooks. Each week, PPA time (from Thursday breaktime onwards) is covered by the lovely Mrs Szyszka and Mrs Chapman.

Together, we are here to support, guide and celebrate each child, making sure they have the very best experiences throughout their time in Year 3.

PE Days:

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday - please make sure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kit on these days.

Curriculum and Learning

Throughout the year, we’ll cover a variety of exciting topics. From building a strong foundation in core subjects to exploring new and fascinating themes. For more information about the subjects and areas of study in Year 3, please refer to the curriculum documents below which provide an overview of all the great learning opportunities we have planned for your child.

Communication

We will continue to utilise Class Dojo as a platform to keep you updated on your child's learning journey. This space will also serve to communicate essential messages and reminders.
